Performance by UCLA Samahang Pilipino Culture Night’s (SPCN) Dance Troupe Alab ng Puso
Alab ng Puso is a component of UCLA’s Samahang Pilipino Cultural Night (SPCN)--an annual production showcasing Pilipinx and Pilipinx-American culture held at the world famous Royce Hall. Alab ng Puso serves to support SPCN in three key ways. Like many other folk dance troupes, our performances serve as a means to celebrate and spread awareness of Pilipinx culture to communities beyond ours. Alab ng Puso also operates to support SPCN’s financial goals needed to put on the production. Finally, Alab ng Puso provides a space for interested students to engage in Pilipinx culture artistically and accurately.
