Ginhawa: Communicating the Language of Healing in Filipino/Tagalog

This workshop / presentation hopes to address the importance of overcoming the language barriers and providing culturally appropriate care in a patient-to-provider setting to encourage more Filipinos to seek medical attention. The workshop aims to provide health care provider participants with basic vocabulary, conversational and courtesy phrases, and medical terminology to put the patient at ease towards a better health outcome.
